I understand what you are saying, I am against abortions. I do feel one area where I can see a person getting an abortion is when they have been raped. I can not see a woman carrying a child for 9 months that have been rapped and see the child and it be a reminder of her being raped. It can be looked at in another aspect too, they can give it up for adoption; which would again be on the mother. I truly agree thought thou shalt not kill and it troubles me because there are a lot of women out here who can't have kids and its very disturbing that they go out here and conceive them and get an abortion like its a birth control.

Thou shalt not murder actually. God tells people to kill other people all through the OT. But abortion is not mentioned anywhere in scripture even though the practice was known. Rabbinical sources condemn it as robbing the nation of numbers. The phoney Gospel of Peter says women who do will be tormented in hell for it., but mysteriously the Bible makes no mention. And when the scripture talks of causing the termination of a pregnancy as a property crime

Exodus 21:22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, 24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

You see. Causing her fruit to depart from her is a finable offense. Only if she suffers additional harm is it more than that. So the loss of the poregancy is not seen as life for a life, but the loss of the woman's life subsequent to an induced miscarriage is life for a life. Thus you have it in black and white scripture. The fetus is not a life. Take your argument up with God.

abortion is not murder under certain circumstances. now they say if u kill a fetus that is older than 2 months then its like killing a human being. but if its less than 2 months its ok. depends on the girls situation abortion allowed or not allowed. like if a girl got raped and gets pregnant she should have abortion or if she cant afford another kid she should get abortion or different reasons. but she shouldnt have abortion just because she doesnt want to have a kid and so on.

I would be interested in knowing how many unwanted children you have adopted, how many foster kids you care for, and how much money you give to help those children have a shot at decent lives. I will guess its very little. People like you seem to care alot about letting these babies be born, but turn your backs once they're here.

I find it unspeakably cruel to force a 13 year old child who was raped by her step father to carry the fetus to term and give birth, or to force a child to be born who is known to have severe handicaps which will mean daily suffering for that child.

Too bad the exactwording of that was changed since it was first written. And what gives YOU the right to say abortion is murder when the state says otherwise

Because some feel that they are not ready for the responsibility of another person. Why bring someone to life only to F-up their lives by someone who clearly is not ready to be a parent.
You should thank them for doing their part to make society a better place.
Take your religion beliefs and practice them behind your own closed doors.

Abortion isn't murder.

I'm afraid that you've allowed slogans to get in the way of your ability to think about this issue. If you can manage it, go all the way back and start thinking from scratch about it.

Anybody can claim to be a Christian. God knows the truth of what is in a person's heart. You cannot lie to God and get away with it.
