It all depends on your preference. Personally, I don’t like many black church services because in general they are 1) WAY too long, 2) too emotional for me, 3) the services are too manufactured.
I don’t like a boring church; I just like ones that have a smooth yet lively BRIEF praise and worship time and a Biblically based LESSON. Sometimes, when I’m in the mood for “getting down”, I go to a black church. :-)

Depends on which black church you're thinking of. They aren't all the same. What songs are better is a matter of taste. Some people prefer rousing gospel music like you would find in some black churches. Other people might prefer a more quiet and solemn atmosphere for worship - the kind of service found in some black churches probably wouldn't appeal to them.

When I was little, I attended Southern Baptist Services... and yes, they have a more active service with a lot more singing. ^_^ It was a lot better than that Church of God I went too during my teen yrs.

i dont know... personally i dont know how singing songs in church will save your immortal soul... but their church seems a bit more aliove and exciting... like in the Blues Brothers...
