It´s not wrong, because I doubt at 14 she knows what real love is. I am not saying it´s impossible she´s in love, but I think there´s a 95% chance that it´s just a strong crush/infatuation.

First of all at 14 does your friend really know what "in love" is or is this a passing infatuation. My guess is the latter. At 14 there are more important things than getting your heart broken by a boy. My advice is to wait and play with boys later in life and even then be cautious.

I doubt she's "in love" but I don't know you or your friend. I don't see anything wrong with dating someone younger than you. I mean guys date younger girls ALL the time, there should be no problm with the other way around. The heart is a weird, scary thing.

Yes!! At fourteen, she doesn't even have a clue as to what love is. The 12 year old would understand it even less. She should live her life as a child and wait until she is grown up and old enough to "fall in love."

It's a little weird right now...but a little later on, it'll be fine. Weird, is knowing an 18 yr old who hits on a 14 yr old all the time while he has a g/f his age.

No, why would it be wrong?
Consider this:
She could be imature for her age, so they're more "equal" emotionally. Or he could be more mature for his age- once again, more "equal"
On the other hand, if she's 14, she's got at least 15 more personality changes to occure before she's considered to be an adult at the age of 25ish.
Don't worry- she's at the age they change b/fs and g/fs as often as they do they're underwear

No way!! That's completely ok! Look at Hilary Duff and Joel Madden. They're 8-9 years apart and they're celebs. If they love eachother, then they're meant for eachother.
