Why can't French Canadians speak Spanish like the rest of us?

Just like their US friends they are too narrow minded to. After all, U.S. citizens and Canadians are the only people to inhabit the Western Hemisphere.

Most Canadians do not speak Spanish, as we are a bi-lingual country of gee...French and English. So the French Canadians are not the only ones in Canada who do not speak Spanish and thus it is unfair to single them out. As a matter of fact Spanish is very rarely even offered in Canadian schools, especially in French ones. Its just not a priority; as a matter of fact I don't know a single person of Mexican or Spanish (European) decent.

seriously though, Spanish isn't as prevelant in their population as it is here. Our burden of being the closer country, I suppose.

lol .. because they don't want to, ad they don't need to ... if they were emigrating to a Spanish speaking country, I'm sure they would learn ... just as all immigrants coming here should learn English ... right?
