There is no doubt that, as far as the Hezbo's go, Iran is mostly pulling the strings. We rarely tell Israel who to attack and when, although I am hesitant to say that we have never done so, but usually Israel gets plenty of other help on deciding who and when to attack, i.e. the Arab countries that keep attacking them.
There are plenty, however, that believe that this was a more of a testing the waters, by Iran. If Iran believes that they can have a fighting chance against Israel, which to this date, no Arab countries have been able to do yet, they would undoubtedly attack, especially if they had a “special” weapon. And considering the indecisive outcome of this 34 day war, it would not surprise me to see something more in the near future. This thing is no where near finished yet.

I don't believe so. While this happens often, Israel made a decision to fight Hezbollah. Neither the US nor Iran were involved at all, and neither nation benefitted at all from the conflict. You should also be very aware to make the distinction between Lebanon and Hezbollah. This was not a war between Israel and Lebanon- Lebanon was not fighting Israel and Israel was not fighting Lebanon.

WHAT?
Where do you get your information (errors) nonsense?
Hezbollah and Haamas has been attacking Israel for decades
Ever since they (muslims) were defeated decades ago. (7 day war?) They lost the war and wars since and still will not accept peace offered.
Where is this foolish nonsense coming from? (islam)
Hey, the Lebanese, citizens packed up and left, because they knew they were in for an zss kicking.
Yet, they would not stand up and fight for their homes and destroy any rocket launcher or terrorist in their neighborhoods.
I'm real proud of their idea of their Neighborhood Watch.
Now, Americans will be asked for funds to HELP the sissy's re-build their cities. Some day muslims will realize they are not right and should accept the Peace they profess.

of course not, could you cause the killing of your brother just to make your neighbor happy. when Hezbollah take the Israeli soldier as a prisoner of war, they only have in there minds the aim to free the three Muslim Lebanese civilian who were been kidnapped by the Israeli mosad. so it is only a war between Lebanese and Israels and both parties of war been supported by there Allies, but the Iranian support was only made before there is a war so the Iranian support was only to balance the power ballance between muslims and jewish.
that is the conflict it is not between israel and Lebanon it is between Muslims and jewish the oldest conflict in the earth.

I believe so,but Israel fell pry to the opinion of the liberal world, and tried to fight a p r war instead of a war to win, much like we have, wars are fought to win not to have your soldiers killed by trying to prove to the world how concerned you are about civilians,if they do not want to die get out of the way,if not than allah will have new guest.

Could be. But i also believe that the harsh, unhumane, unjustified reaction by israel is also because lebanon was enjoying one of the best toursim season and israel does not like to see that or allow lebanon to become once again the paris of the middle east.

Iran surely has to realize the US could wipe out its military in a few days just like we did twice to Iraq..As we would have no motive to occupy Iran afterwords it would be a disaster for Iran to do something stupid.

yes because the our government has been giving money and weapons to isreal but we still lost because israel still hasn't gotten rid of hezbollah or brought back their kidnapped soldiers. the israeli air strikes were not as effective and they should have sent more troops to raid homes and buildings; that way they could point and shoot instead of bomb buildings that are 'thought' to be hezbollah hideouts...

Not quite, only in a minor sense. It was a propaganda war by Iran against the west and they won.
