Honey what does your instincts tell you? He's not even my man and my instincts is screaming "That bastard is cheating", if I were you I'd get this sh** straight. First of all don't let him disrespect you, it will only make matters worse when you discover the HE IS cheating on you and will only damage your self esteem. If you get the DOG to confess all good, but I would suggest you take the intiative to do some investigating. When you get the proof you need drop the bum...let the clean up women get him and take some time to reaffirm what it is about you that makes you a strong woman. Then don't settle for nothing but the best in your next relationship. Don't rush into one either take your time and establish your boundaries. If he isn't cheating, maybe there are some issues he just can't handle confiding in you with, but after 5 years even that's a problem.

Something is definitely up. He might be having an affair or it could just be he's going through a very stressful time and isn't handling it that well.

All you can do is sit him down and ask him why he's behaving so strangely. Tell him that his behavior is worrying you and his tendency to constantly argue is really hurting you. If he can't give an explanation, then it's time to leave him. You don't need to be in such a crappy relationship. Move on and find a guy who will treat you right.

Ask him for a night of his time. Sit down and talk it out. I'm a face to face person and, not that I like controversy, but I'm a proponent of getting your thoughts and feelings out in the open with people you care about. Otherwise it will eat you up inside and effect all aspects of your life. Be prepared for the truth and lies, and be prepared for joy and sorrow. Do everything you can to try and make it work. I'm not saying it's this easy and it may bring the result you weren't looking for but you can't let it consume you.

I think you already know the answer to that question, you just need someone to agree with you. He is acting that way because he feels guilty about doing whatever he is doing and is trying to justify his actions by fighting with you. Therefore you are the bad guy and he can not feel so guilty.
