i dont agree with serious relationships start wen marriage starts. i'v been with my boyfriend for a while now and even tho most people say im not old enuf to be in love or wateva i am, and its a serious relationship. we dont need a sexual relationship for ours to be serious. i think its mostly up to the two people who are in the relationship to deside whether or not its serious. and if they should have a sexual relationship.

Times have changed since we were younger. Sexual relationships are often more casual now. I grew up on No sex till marriage, but with pressure and increasing hormones these days beliefs like that are rare.
I have friends that have been together for years and have kids but aren't married. They just didn't want to do that. They still consider each other as man and wife. In all reality serious relationships start when you both are ready to make the commitment to each other. Once you make that commitment it is up to you to determine if a sexual relationship should be pursued.

Serious relationship starts when you agree to date him alone.

I do believe that you need to have sex before marriage. Sex although in the end isn't a bit part of a relationship but if there is no chemistry there in the beginning, there is nothing to help sustain the relationship.

However, from the number of people who post messages about pregnancy and sex on this site, I'd suggest more people wait until they are old enough to handle the responsibilities of sex.

How on earth could you do that if you are in love with a person? Unless you are very, very young. There's nothing wrong with love making. Just be responsible and use some kind of protection, not only against disease but, to prevent pregnancy, which I think SHOULD be saved til after marriage.

Because I am a religious person, I do believe you should be married to have intercourse. Before I became religious I only had sex with men whom I truly cared about. God intended for one man and one woman because of the union of the souls when you make love. This is just my opinion.

I'd have to agree with you. Sex should be for married couples only. You will feel guilty if you do it before then. Also, losing your virginity to your wife/husband will be the greatest feeling you've ever had.
