Where do you find more than three generation pedagrees for AKC regerstered dogs?

Question

I have AKC Dobermans and one AKC Min Pin. We have the 3 generation pedigrees but what to track as far as we can. Sort of like a family tree search.

Does anyone know where to get this info or any ideas?

I have always used Leidig's pedigree service. They do beautiful work, on parchment with gold gilded trim, and always fast and reliable. Here they are. They are also cheaper than AKC > http://www.leidigspedigrees.com/

Go to the above site, or.....
Starting at akc.org go to the akc store link, you'll have to set up a user name and password...
Once you are at the pedigree page you will have the option to buy an official pedigree that will be mailed to you ( up to 4 generations ) or you may do an online research pedigree up to 5 generations and it is downloadable, you need adobe acrobat reader to view.
All you need is AKC numbers and you can research any dog.
IF you want to go back more than 5 generations, you can contact the breeder. One trick is to pull a 5 generation off the grand sire on the dam and stud's side, giving you a view a little further back.

You can go to AKC to get a pedigree or you can look in the back of dog magazines for pedigree services. The breeder of your dogs should also have pedigrees of more then 3 generations for the dogs since they were/are hopefully a responsible breeder.

You can BUY a least a TEN-GENERATION pedigree from AKC!!!

My dogs is familiar with my sons call. I ask her to discover Oskar and she or he runs to him. that's in all probability because of the fact he's barely a new child and that i'm consistently asserting his call, and have been at abode a great style of the day so she's listening to me call his call lots :)

AKC.ORG WILL DO A 5 YEAR PEDEGRE. AND MAYBE MORE!
