Ever think about what the other guy is like in real life and wonder if, in reality, your impression is all wrong?

For example, what if I turned out to be a 350 pound transvetite?
Jim Darwin was actually a 19-year old female stripper?
and
Whynotaskdon turns out to be a grumpy, boring, ol man?

would that shock you?

Seriously, though... ever think about what the regulars here are like in real life?
How do you imagine them?

I think the people on here would be a representative sample of the world's population. There are all races, ages, both sexes. I'm sure there are attractive and not so attractive people. Big ones, small ones, disabled people, transvestites and regular people. I have wondered about Jim Darwin. Although intelligent, I imagine he is the middle aged guy that corners girls at parties and bores them silly. The internet breeds social ineptitude so while many people here sound fun they probably can't communicate their feelings and ideas as well face to face.

Don't you think we all have masques on? I know I would love to think that everyone thought I was their were, with, all, but I wear a masque to keep them knowing the true me!!! So, even if you meet me, in person, and I've told you all good things about me, you will come to your own conclusion when I appear. Now, here comes the tricky part, will you take the time to get to know me? When you truly know me, and I mean to take off the masque, then will you still like me enough to be my friend? I think we all need to strive to be ourselves and to seek out the people that will appreciate the real person we are, regardless of looks, money, position, etc. What you are truly going to like about me is my spirituality and you will have trust and confidence. I try, very hard, not to wear a masque but to tell you what you see is what I am. More of us need to strive for this. If you are looking for someone in your life, give them a chance, no matter what appearances are. Go deep and have them unmasque for you. Then make your decision. Good luck and God bless.

Not really....I would if there was more talk about how attractive someone is, but that doesn't come up out here. Much.

I'm changing my answer slightly - I don't much wonder what people look like, but I checked out a few, and I have to admit I was surprised. My most common response was "Huh, I thought they'd be older."

I'd probably only be truly shocked if I saw that one of you was someone I knew in real life already.
I think it would be cool to see that you are all real people, it would make some of you far less intimidating to me.
I don't care what any of you really look like, but I'd love to know if your personality that I know here online actually shines thru in real life.

Whynotaskdon isn't a grumpy old man???

I don't know -- I met someone on yahoo and we ended up connecting through 360* and she left a comment on my page,

"Wow! You don't look at all like I expected! You're so cute!"

I responded on her page:

"What *were* you expecting?"

my response,

"I don't know... somebody much less attractive!"

LOL I'm not sure if that was a compliment or not! She, herself, was Pagan, so maybe she was under the impression that I would be overweight and ugly? LOL I don't know... so I think, yes, we would be shocked!

Blessings and Light!

I made my avatar look as much like me as possible. But, I'm the size of a typical Buffalo Bill victim, really. But I carry it well, and my huge boobs make the rest of me look smaller, so it works out to be a pretty sexy look, according to plenty of men and some women friends. I'm good looking enough for other pretty girls to hate me at first sight, so I must not be too ugly. My hair is very long and very blonde, so that helps too.
I'm VERY curious what Jim looks like. I put his description of himself in my watch-list. I'm sure that you do not look like the FSM, and am curious what everyone actually looks like in person too. I hope my friends here don't stop likeing me now that they know what i look like.

I always imagined Jim Darwin was a 19-year-old female stripper.

You're implying (s)he's not? Well, I'm shocked already...

Not much would shock me. I'm pretty jaded anymore.

But you mean Jim Darwin isn't a 19 yo stripper? I am suprised.

Most of the regulars are....

Nerds. Yup, Nerds, pure and simple, nerds.

That is all

Personality usually comes across in text, I think. And for the most part, personality can tell you a bit about appearance, as well. Although, I have been told that my personality does not match my appearance at all... (I think it's my massive member protruding from my pants that throws people off)
