Remember the bible clearly atates that divorce in Gods eyes is only valid when either party has commited adultery. And futher more this was only permittable for the hardness of the person in questions' heart. Therefore, according to the bible, the partners are STILL MARRIED despite a piece of divorce paper. God is against divorce. I love you and must say, so am I against divorce. My moto is Vow unto God ie "FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE".

Right, but these are people who don't follow that faith...Otherwise, they wouldn't be getting divorced, eh?

I believe that marriage is forever. And I am pleased to know that my values have been passed on to my daughter, who is planning on getting married in about a year. I look forward to knowing my grandchildren have the same values.

People are no longer brought up in an environment that finds distinction between contracts, covenants, vows and promises.

In a society that once recognized a man is only as good as his word, we now only recognize a man being as good as his billfold.

We changed from worshipping and honoring God to worshipping an honoring Mammon. It's all about money and convenience, isn't it?

Same reason there is legalized abortion...we sacrifice our babies to save a few bucks and avoid the inconvenience. That *is* the worship of Mammon.

that is not. Adultery is defined as sexual intercourse while one (or extra) of the companions is married! Having intercourse while neither companion is married is declared as "fornication". exciting ingredient be conscious...with the help of a few interpretations of the historic utilization of those words, the action of having intercourse with somebody represents a marriage relationship...if that is authentic, then you definately can in basic terms play the "that is fornication no longer adultery" card one time...your first time. After that, you're committing adultery once you have intercourse with all and sundry else! in basic terms a concept...

I've been married only once, and we are at 20 years and counting. We have had our share of 'thick and thin' too.

Love brings you together.
Commitment KEEPS you together.

Don't bail when the going gets tough; keep your promises.
And that's honestly NOT because I'm scared to go to Hell or anything like that. That's because I determined long ago that I was only getting married once, and it would be for keeps. I passed up some nice guys in my early 20s. I waited, and I was positive I had the right guy. If you have to ask - it's not the 'right' one. Peace.
