Are there any artists that you can lose yourself while listening to and make you think or can relate personal experiences with?

I love to listen to Rush's 2112 full version. It takes me over. I rarely get time these days to just chill and listen to music. My life seems to be really frantic just now and I really need to address that.
I've been listening to a lot of Rush and Pink Floyd on my mp3 player I also have a creedence clearwater revival track that just makes me happy- Jeremiah was a bullfrog/ Joy to the world.

I'm into southern gospel. I like the Crabb Family, Mike Bowling, Michael Combs, Karen Peck and New River, The Steeles, and a whole lot more. I listen to Joy FM because it is local for me in North Carolina but you can listen to it too anywhere in the world. Just go to: www.joyfm.org. They are on the air 24/7.

Anything that is just instrumental can be almost spiritual to me. I like to listen to Bond (a classical electric stringed quartet) or Liquid Tension Experiment (a very heavy , very talented quartet consisting of drums, keyboard, guitar and base). If I am doing martial arts or meditation, I like to listen to soft flowing music that helps me concentrate on what I am doing and gives me a calm relaxed sensation that seems to highten my spiritual awareness even for hours after I am finished with my "task". The soundtrack to Escaflowne works really well for this purpose. I recommend them all.

WOW...you sound like me in a nutshell...bizarre. the perfect guy for you will come around I promise. i became contained in the comparable subject and became searching for a boyfriend however the only delivers I have been given have been the dumb highschool douchebags who have been greater attracted to "swag" then an practise.Then i stumbled on the boy who greater healthful me. you will come across a good guy, think ofyou've have been given time your purely sixteen :)

for me personally its SLIPKNOT because theyre music was there when i needed them as i grew up and there music has basically helped me through every walk of life i have taken...
