nothing will happen you dum person, gum is a substance from trees, she will poo it out in the streets like all you indians do, and a stray dog will eat it

Hey, here's an idea; don't give a four year old chewing gum! What the hell are you thinking? There is no need for a child of that age to be chewing gum, apart from anything else they can choke to death on it (happened in my school to a 12 year old). Stop the child from chewing gum, hide gum that belongs to other family members, and go from there.

This is nothing to worry about. An occasional piece of gum is treated like a lot of other stuff and will pass through with little problem. The whole 'builds in the stomach' or 'does not pass for 7 years' stuff is an urban legend.

What does a three year old being "forbidden" do something have to do with anything? You are the adult - keep that stuff out of reach and keep closer dibs on your kid for pete's sake. The solution is to simply wait it out. Everything will come out in the end... Unless she's choking or seems sick, just leave well enough alone... and keep a closer eye on your kid.

Try putting the chewing gum out of their reach or hide it. Kids can't get to things if they don't know where they are.

Forbidden that she chew it or just swallow it? If she can't chew without swallowing then don't allow her to have it. It isn't going to hurt it, but it still isn't the best thing either.

She'll be fine. It will pass through her digestive tract. I would stop giving her gum for a while. She's too young for it if she keeps swallowing it.

She will be fine. Don't let her chew anymore gum. She obviously is too young or defiant.
