Leaving little gifts and letters etc in some of the places where we have been since we've gotten together. Firstly has anyone got any ideas about inexpensive things I could leave him (because i would obviously be gutted if someone found and took a very pricey gift - although its not very likely to happen) Plus I could use some inspiration!! I'd like to know if people think this is a good, or really bad idea. I think he'd appreciate it, but obviously can't exactly ask him! Thanks

Nice idea!
What about leaving vouchers instead of actual prizes at each place? He could bring the vouchers back to you and claim all his prizes so that you dont have the risk of someone else finding them.
Good Luck!

Cook a nice meal - it doesn't have to be anything amazing or needing a lot of work to prepare. For example, if he likes Spaghetti Bolognese then that would be perfect. What's important is the presentation: candles and a small amount of any other mood lighting that's available, some nice soft music, perhaps ballads or something gentle and classical if he's into that - oh, and dress up a little. Ask him to dress up a little, too, if that's do-able - it'll reinforce his impression that this is a special event. Then just see where the evening leads you.

OMG what a lucky guy! That is the most thoughtful thing I have heard in a while...

You could get him little things that remind you of eachother. Like a pack of gum or a candy bar that you have enjoyed together. You could probably get the staff involved at these places too - alot of people are willing to help out if it's a good cause and you are really nice!

Hope that helps!

For what purpose is this little treasure hunt?? Do you actually think he would like it, or think that it's cute?? The ideas really depend on where you're going and so forth. Have you thought of little poems, maybe? What are you going to leave at the end?

GREAT IDEA!!! My fiance was in the Phillipines for a month for work, and the day she got back she spent an hour doing a scavenger hunt finding random things hidden in neat places, just around the house. When I got home from work, she attacked me like the world was about to end!!

I like to leave a little treasure hunt around the house and garden for my gf. Have a clue as soon as they walk through the door, then make each of the clues more and more cryptic, and each one have a better suprise once found. Whilst he's looking for you, slip into something more comfortable, and have yourself as the final suprise.

I think he's a very lucky man to have such a caring and thoughtful woman in his life. I should be so lucky.........

As for ideas for the "Treasure", I would think small personal items that really only mean something to the two of you would be best.

I hope it all works well and that you both have a fantastic evening.

I'd love a treasure hunt! As far as inexpensive things go, what kind of interests does he have? Play on those.

I think it sounds brilliant, and very romantic! but you should save it for his birthday or some thing like that as it would make it even more special!
You could try instead of or as well as letters, you could put in photos of that place, and cheep gifts could be books or go around town/the mall, or make hand made gifts for him! be creative!

Wow... I wish i was that creative with my boyfriends birthdays. I, personaly, like the idea but I dont knoe your boyfriend so IDK if he's gunna like it =\ But maybe somethings you could hide are maybe things he's interested in.
You could go to the mall or where they h ave those photo booths and then you can get pics of you two and then dont let him see them or just let him glance but dont let him have them and then for the treasure hunt he can get the pics one by one in the treasure hunt
