can u vclean the lens on cd on comp like u owuld for say a vcr tapes head or do u have to buy the cd/?

Yes you can clean it with cd lens cleaning liquid, and with the cd/dvd cleaning cd. Later is easier for most of us.

It is necesary to buy a special cd for cleaning with a little brush attached to it
Or you can use a special spray
