I am getting my 15 months son his first pillow. I was thinking about getting him a travel size one, which is 12.5" X 16". Would that be good untill he's 5 or older, or should I just get him a regular size pillow with a lite filling, which is 20" X 25"?

I am getting him his own pillow because he keeps trying to steal mine (sleep with his head on mine, we co-sleep).
I cant let him decide, because I am ordering his pillow online. For a pillowcase, I can just sew him one.

I got him a travel size and I couldn't find a cover for it. One I did come across was all cheap and rough.

By the way, the pillow is always anywhere but under his head, they don't give a crap about pillows until they are like 3 or 4 yrs old.

I just used a soft, standard size pillow for my daughter. I think she was about the same age as your son when I got it. She took to it immediately and still loves sleeping on it.

My daughter just turned 18 mos. and her pillow is an old one I don't like to use because it's too flat for me but, perfect for her. I just bought a really cute pillow case for it.

I personally would get him a larger pillow. #1 if you share now, will give him something to snuggle with other than just hold his head up. #2 if he takes it to the "tv" room and lays on it, gives him more to lay on..
It really just depends on what you want to buy, but, if you buy a travel pillow, you'll have to buy another one later.. so, just buy the larger one now..

I gave my son an old one that has been flattend a lot. Its perfect for his little body and gets him used to it for when he is older.
