You can, mostly because the Toolbar scanner is just that: a scanner. It goes looking for specific signatures. You shouldn't have 2 "real time" scanners running at the same time. Norton Antivirus, for example, installs a realtime scanner, as do some spyware defenders. So, feel free to run the Yahoo scan, an Adaware scan, and any other scan you wish... but run only 1 "real-time" or "active protection" tool at one time.

Yes you can. The more anti-spyware programs you have the merrier since not one program can catch everything yet. The thing you want to avoid, which I think you question is based off, is you don't want two anti-virus programs running or installed at the same time. That's where things can get messy.

you can run as many as you want! Best bet is to run them independently - as one scan may detect what the other scan has detected and they can loop on each other. So run one, when it is complete, run another. I do this ALL the time because they all have different filters!!

My advice is to NOT install norton, its a resource hog and will slow down your PC.
Also, Norton is very demanding.
