They can be ones that no longer exist and were completely wiped out or just merged with other tribes (the few that were left), ones in Canada, United States, Mexico, Central America or South America. They have to be native and existed when the settlers fisrt started coming over here before the declaration of Independance was signed in 1776. I will choose the one who can come up with the most.

I study languages so hear are a few with known languages. Alomost all tribes you run into will be pre 1776. If you google any of these tribes you will find much more info.

Lenape (from 'Dickon amongst the Lenape Indians')

... and probably many more than that (I could cheat and look up Wikipedia but you said 'think of') which I have heard of but know little about and some which I think of as place names.

I do have to agree with two up there (who didn't answer the question) that you might have logically put this question in a number of categories - whatever posessed you to put it in Food and Drink!?

Hi,, i will give you a couple that were here before the Declaration was a dream ,, that were out right before it or right after,,,,

The Pascagoula,,, the Natchez,,, both in Mississippi.... one on the gulf coast ,, the other on the west border with louisiana,,,
