Is is possible I can get a GPS installed on a 2003 nissan altima? do you know how much ill be charged?

good question! the Altima GPS cars have three things that make them different. Display screen in dash and wiring to power the screen and Audio Visual controls for the display not available from Nissan separately, built in at the factory. I recommend the aftermarket portable approach Garmin, Magellan, and Tom Tom all available at Best Buy Circuit City and Buy Dot Com. If you have to have a notebook computer with you: get an AC inverter to power it and there are great GPS programs you can run and small antenna so you can have a bigger screen and guide voice right from the computer and mapping soft wear updates from the Internet. Any Help?

You should consider a PDA with GPS instead. Updating the GPS maps are much easier on a PDA than on a builtin GPS.

upwards of $1k. just go buy a dashtop garmin for like <$500, then you can move it from car to car or take it when you sell the altima.
