I can speak Spanish and some French. Portuguese is something you rarely ever hear. In a way that's good. I get the impression when you hear too much of a language it means they had to leave their country to come here. I guess it speaks well that at least people in Portuguese speaking countries have some degree of stability.
I can just make out what you said, but this is written format, not spoken, which is faster. It sounds like a blend of Spanish and Italian. Except more elegant. As per your question? When at any time in history has man anywhere welcomed his fellow man openly, I wonder.
Ghandi was asked about the book ( ?) ' The Civilization of the West ' to which he responded; " I think it's a good idea. " Me too!

You can't generalise, but most British people in my experience are well-disposed towards Brazilians. Three or four reasons I can think of:
- they like your footballers;
- only comparatively rich Brazilians can afford to come to the UK so they are not seen as a threat to jobs, housing etc.;
- Brazilians seem to enjoy having fun.
Eu falo português também.

"Preconception" is not an English word.
The translation of "preconceito" is "prejudice" or "bias".
