Why should you be a christian??? Ummmm...I dunno but the thought of burning in a lake of fire, hearing moaning, wailing, screaming and crying for the rest of all eternity was enough for me to want to be a christian.
But you decide for yourself.

If you're asking seriously... and I hope you are... seriously, God has a plan for every person, and He had it since the beginning of time. And he loves you like he loves every person, unfortunately, many (most?) people stray from that plan and go their own way. He *wants* to bring everyone to Himself, so that they can live full, meaningful lives, and beyond, but He also gave everyone free-will, because there is no love in being a puppet-master.
Humans are imperfect and can never live up to a Perfect, Holy God. And God knows this, and because of His love for us, he sent down for us a Sacrifice; a perfect person, Jesus (God Himself) who would take all the punishment for all mankind ever, onto himself. This sacrifice was needed to cover all sins for all people. But we have to decide if we'll accept that sacrifice. We do have the choice. That's why you should be a follower of Christ... Because God really wants you back.

Why shouldn't you be a Christian? If you want to live for eternity in heaven, you must accept Jesus Christ. If you want to spend eternity in hell, deny him. I like the idea of heaven better.

Choose this day who U will serve.JESUS the CHRIST is the only ONE who is worthy.HE LOVES U SOOOOO much HE died in your place and rose again HE wants to talk with U and guide U in HIS lightand without him we are nothing,but with HIM we have life more abundent.LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED ye believe in GOD BELIEVE ALSO IN ME john 14.1-4 who so ever will believe shall not perish but have ever lasting life john 3,16 confess with the mouth and believe with the heart that JESUS IS LORD!!!!! and U will be saved.Ive search the world over and there is nothing without JESUS the CHRIST ,HE IS the SWEETEST NAME I KNOW May U seek HIMmy prayers are with U AMEN

Because it is the only true religion that will get you eternal life here and now and then after you die, eternity in Heaven. I can't think of a better reason.

Because You were made by God ...for God and to glorify Him.
He has a plan and purpose for your life, plans for good and not for evil, plans to give you a future and a hope.
Also, so that you can have eternal life, to be with God forever.
This life is a temporary assignment.
