Martha Stewart says you should place them between 2 sheets of scented cheesecloth and place them in the middle of your family bible or other large book. The book should then be placed in a cool dry place for approximately 2 months in order for the preservation to be complete. You can then mix them with rose hips, lavender leaves, and rosemary sprigs to make a nice potpurri.

Use a small scissor and trim to right size, place them in a zip lock bag, there they will hold for weeks refrigerated.
