What am I?...
What are WE?...
Allow me to answer, for I am a dead man:
We are ALL dead men...
And yet, even within the violent, microscopic throes of my decay I have always had a sense, a knowing of this cold, arid truth which is met with the denials of the human masses. If you listen quietly, you can hear the bleatings of this herd echo off of the walls of the abattoir of Earth: "...we are here... we are needed... we are alive... we are not dead... we are not going to die out..."
Yes, I am a dead man --- this answer is posthumous.
You see, I have returned to this question; the same question I whispered sitting naked in the dark, oh so long ago. Yes, there are many dead madmen who ask questions in the dark... But only a few have ears keen enough to hear the Darkness answer back...
So, what has the Darkness revealed to me? What am I, other than this corpse? Whom might this decaying madman yet will himself to be?
I'd like to tell you, but the Darkness is still speaking to me...

I am an individuation of the universal wave function. My physiological structure functions (to greater or lesser degrees) as an coherent quantum object. Based on that coherence and my level of structural/functional complexity I am distinct enough from the general wave function to be afforded at least the perception of personal volition. I am (in a very general sense) the fullest known expression of the underlying potential of the quantum vacuum, the universal source and substance.

I am a child of GOD. I am mother, sister, daughter, friend. I am caretaker, homemaker, poet, scholar, musician, and animal lover. I am wife, lover, shoulder to lean on, sounding board, help meet, equal, able to stand on my own two feet but intelligent enough to know when I need a helping hand.I am all of this and more.
