Don't you have something better to do? You sound like my mother who was always telling us kids to clean our plates because there were children in other countries that were starving. I always wondered how cleaning my plate was going to help them way over wherever!
Same here.....how will consumers of baby corn help anyone else if they stop eating it? Maybe you know, but I don't.
Maybe you could find a way to help someone in your immediate area. They are there, but you may have to open your eyes to see what is directly in front of you. That goes for everyone of us.....including myself!
Caring is the first step.....& I believe from your question / comment that you do! Good luck!

Yes. These are baby corn, and most of them come from Asian countries. They are wonderful in stir fries and or in /on salads or just dipping in a good ranch dressing for an appetizer. They don't grow any bigger than what you see.
They are great--and almost no calories to boot.
btw/ we ARE helping alot of people, by buying and using them--think of all those people harvesting, canning, packaging, importing etc.,etc.,etc., we ARE feeding alot already , silly !!

I LOOOOVE baby corn. It tastes delicious in stir-fries, and it has almost no calories (also, it hasn't built up the syrupy content of corn)
And longhair140, what the Hell is the point of posting just to tell the asker they're stupid? Oh, right...points!

it is the only way my son will devour it.... if I fix sausage the jelly constantly comes out. i think of it takes the spice away so as that way he loves it and it tastes candy not relatively spiced
