I think everyone might actually have a different idea of what heaven is all about. I'm not really into the streets of gold things. Maybe the streets with no names ...sounds better.

Would there be suffering in heaven if not everyone liked it there, and would we need to find ways to replenish our energy and could there be a shortage(or running low because someone was stockpiling the spiritual food)?

Do we have the ability to crate in heaven if we didn't like our new spiritual home and how would we be able to change our surroundings? What if people believe they couldn't change their surroundings, would others have to do it for them?
Would those others be intimidating? and possibly seen as evil or powerseekers? In heaven?

Your question reminds me of CS Lewis book, THE GREAT DIVORCE. In it, Lewis takes a bus from Hell to heaven and the people perceive heaven as hell if they retain unforgiveness for example. Very interesting reading.
The scenarios you paint ascribe too much lower nature of man surviving - our focus will no longer be on ourselves, I think.

It boils down to one's definition of heaven. If you felt you were in heaven, then obviously you are not going to perceive it as hell. I think the spiritual definition of heaven does not allow for thinking and free choices so there would not be any problems with shortages or changes or personality clashes. The bible came up with the concept so read what it says about it! Otherwise, just wait and see....

Heaven does have streets of gold, Revelation says so. No, it's not possible to think heaven is hell. It's completely different, there's no death or despair, no disease, and you're in God's presence all the time.

Heaven for the Christian will be a place of glorious life that will never end. Joy inexpressible, limitless peace, pure love, beauty beyond description—that's what heaven is. Greatest of all will be the presence of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, with whom we will enjoy fellowship forever. Loved ones who have known and loved the Lord will be there. Revelation 21:2 says, "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

Heaven will be a place in which its inhabitants will be freed from the fears and insecurities that plague and haunt us in the present life. No energy crisis there ... Free from the economic and financial pressures that burden us down here. Free from the fear of personal and physical harm ... No fear of personal failure ... Our relationship with Him will be intimate and direct. I'm looking forward to that glorious day of going to heaven.

"Heaven will be what we have always longed for. It will be the new social order that men dream of. All the things that have made earth unlovely and tragic will be absent in heaven. There will be no night, no death, no disease, no sorrow, no tears, no ignorance, no disappointment, no war. It will be filled with happiness, worship, love, perfection and other good qualities. Heaven will be a place to challenge the creative genius of the unfettered mind of redeemed man." Revelation 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

However, the Bible makes clear that there is only one way to heaven, and that is through repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ who said, "I am the way ..." (John 14:6). Jesus paid for our sins through His death on the cross. God offers us the free gift of friendship with Him in this life and eternal life in heaven when we die if we will but turn from sin and trust in Jesus as our Savior and Lord. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved ..." (Acts 16:30).

I think heaven is different for everyone. Heaven is what you want it to be, not just the streets paved with gold and harps for everyone.

What if? There is one heaven and one hell. Who runs all things?...God, he knows the number of hairs on your head, don't you think that he knows what you like? Why would he create "paradise" or heaven for the faithfilled faithful, when he would KNOW they or we would'nt like it. We all have worldly minds as of now. He says, don't quote me, no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind can ever, while on this earth grasp, comprehend, what he has in store for us, the faithfilled faithful.

Once you cross the line into mystical way of thinking about reality; all bets are off. Anything goes, up is down, black is white, good is bad. Because you loose all ability to define anything. Thus you become a slave to those that teach mysticism.
