Because they are acting foolish and irresponsible. They might be of the believe that they are clean and believe that the woman they will be with is also. But we never truly know so by believing it won't happen to me but the guy down the street they are being very foolish.

Maybe you're sleeping with the wrong people. Most men I know are just as responsible as women about safe sex.

They are participating unwittingly in your committment test. If they insist on wearing one, give them points. If they insist on not wearing one, take points away (and say "no way") Combine this with a bunch of other objective tests that you think up BEFORE you are on a date. The condom test is good because his attitude about you should be to protect you. If he won't protect you from himself, how can you expect him to protect you from others. Your other tests should be designed similarly.

Well, I don't carry condoms with me because I do not expect to end up in bed with a woman first night out.

I do know one woman friend who carries condoms around with her and who gave me one as a sign her friend was interested in me. This is in Portugal.

Most is a pretty large generalization. You need to let the man know before you even get undressed that he will use a condom.

You put it on him the minute his underwear come off.

Never carrying any condoms around with them. Probably the worst thing to happen, but happen it does. Unfortunately.
