Christian still view evolution in the same way that 18th century man did - they cannot get past this linear, ladder-like structure, with man being on the top rung. We real, intelligent people understand that this was wrong and have accepted a version where all life is one a tree, with man occupying one twig on the branch of mammals. Christians are so ignorant of evolution, they say things like "show me a talking dog" or "Im not related to monkeys!" What they do not understnad is that evolution means nothing about intelligence...evolution's path is not linear and meant to be progressive to the point of intelligence. And, man did not descend from apes (not monkeys, learn the diff...monkeys cannot brachiate, or travel via arms movements like apes can, which is why monkey bars are misnamed - they are ape bars. But I digress...), but rather shares a common ancestor...at that point, man diverged, and apes and man evolved together.
And even after this, they will still fail to understand it.

First, evolution is not a scientifically proven fact. Anyone who says it is, is either a moron, or completely removed from reality. Second, you have no proof of evolution.none. You're talking out of your azz on this one. You have theories, but if you know anything, theories cannot substantiate theories.
Learn something. The Law of Entropy. States that all things move from order to disorder. (2nd Law / aka law of disorder). Therefore, the evolutionary theory is contradictory to the Law of Entropy. You know what a Law is? A Proven Theory- Which is something evolution is still not. How can the universe be moving toward disorder (2nd law) but evolution be working toward organization. Not possible.
Genetic mutation is not always for the benefit of the organism. Mutations occur as a result of errors dna coding process often leaving the organism sterile (genotype which may or may not affect phenotype).
Natural selection. I don't have a problem with natural selection.
But you clearly need to take high school biology over again, and this time get higher than a D+. And you dumb atheists claim you have a grasp on anything intellectual are all full of yourselves and your pathetic american education. Shut it. None of you can hold a candle to me intellectually or otherwise.

OK, I will give you that evolution is a fact. The world is ever changing. As far as your little theory about creatures changing and then the new and improved creature replacing the older creature is the most rediculous thing that I have ever heard. These scientists are the same ones that claim that we came from monkeys and yet... I still see monkeys. we haven't replaced them. And then, there are hundreds of species of monkeys. Then, there are several types of humans. We come in all different shapes and sizes. Survival of the fittest only works in the wild kingdom. If it were a fact, then somehow, one of the millions of people who are stronger faster and smarter than me would have already killed me. Now. as far as your question asking about whether Christians know the difference between evolution and theory of evolution by natural selection... What the F#$@ did your question have to do with Christians. If you hate Christians because we believe in creationism vs. evloution than just say that. You are just making yourself out to be a fargin idiot by asking questions like this. Also, if people really want to know about evolution than I'm pretty sure that they would go talk to a scientist, or read their research. They are not going to want to listen to some jackass on the internet talk about what they read in their last anti-christian monthly subscription.

I think the wording might be something like evolution and Evolution or maybe evolution and The Theory of Evolution. Yeah there's a difference but I spoke with one Christian fellow and he seemed to object to the word evolution being used to describe change in animals over time. It seemed he sorts confused it with Evolution a bit.
Right, evolution is provable while Evolution is a theory that is taught as fact in our schools. It seems to be the new official religion of no-religion.
It seems to be on one side or the other of this issue limits the possible scope of answers. One could forward the idea that Evolution happened as a direct result of God's or gods will.

Theory of evolution is being discarded by Quran. If the man was a monkey why not there are further changes in him, he should be a something different and this process should be continued. The theory of the survival of the fittest is the fittest theory. A cockroach is still a cockroach it has not changed its shape to a goat.

Yes and they are both wrong. Science has been proven wrong many more times than Biblical facts. But all will know the truth went the end (of your life or the world) is at hand. The only thing I can tell you is talk to God and repent, you will find yourself in a better situation.
Thanks and GB

- the 2nd law of thermal dynamics says evilution is false
- we observe micro-evolution, but not macro-evolution because everyone knows macro is bigger than micro
- radiometric dating is false because radioisotope halos prove it
- if there is a god and you don't believe you god to hell, but if there isn't a god and you do believe then nothing happens, so you should believe
- the Bible proves evolution is false
- there are thousands of proofs against evolution and even a bunch of scientists are saying it's false now
- the grand canyon was caused by the flood

For myself, I see it more as adaptability. Carbon dating has been disprove. Email me in a few days and I can get the site that proves that. Darwinism has been removed from the US education system as valid theory. The simple reality is, that scientist are now looking to the creationist theory after the "string" theory was discovered.

The Christians in here are utterly ignorant of science (and reality) in general - they just mindlessly spout from the Bible and that's all they can do since they are disconnected from the real world.

Yes, and I think many Christians would agree with that.
However the whole point of their arguement is where did it all begin??? Life does not evolve from non life.
