How do you cook pork steaks in the oven and have them come out tender? Some people told me to cook them under a broiler but my oven does not have one. What can I do?

If you have a pan that can go in the oven...

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Put butter and oil (olive or vegetable) in a pan on high heat
Pat dry steaks with paper towel
put steaks in pan with the hot butter/oil mix
sear 1 minute
flip
sear 1 minute
flip
put pan in oven for 10 minutes or more depending on thickness.

Yummy and not dried out.

You can put the steaks in at 175 for a few hours, a little broth in the roasting pan or get your pan on the stove really hot, throw them on there for 2 minutes on each side to sear them and throw them in a low temp oven.

Try them with some sauerkraut over the pork steaks and bake them in the oven, you will love it, if you like sauerkraut.
If not my advice is to put some garlic, onion salt, peper, salt and bake them at 350 degrees for 45 minutes and they'll be tender. Good Luck!

Pan Sear
Cast Iron is the best,,, but they all work,, get the pan nice and hot, spice your pork steak, Cajun is best for pan searing, but not necessary, add a bit of olive oil, and go to town! Once you drop your steak into the pan, turn it down to med. or med-low. cook for about a minute- a minute and a half, flip and cook till desired temp.(usually another 2-3 minutes)

I am guessing you dont have a bbq grill. Season them up and use a frying pan. Sear both sides and then place them in the oven to finish. I dont not know how thick they are so the best way to tell if they are done is touching them with your finger they should be somewhat firm, medium to medium well,
