I use the Glad Brand of Luggage. The ones with the handles work the best.

Samsonite. Samsonite is the world’s largest maker of luggage, making everything from large suitcases to smaller toiletries bags.
Originally named the Shwayder Trunk Manufacturing Company, the company was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1910 by Jesse Shwayder. Samsonite was launched as a brand in 1941, receiving its name from the biblical character Samson, renowned for his strength. The brand was most notable for being the first luggage brand to incorporate fake leather, allowing for attractive and cheap suitcases. The company soon changed its name to match that of the successful brand. Samsonite, derived from the latin term, "sam" and "nili", is made of a sturdy material known to withstand tremendous amounts of pressure; to include incessant banging by luggage handlers.

I have to go with the majority here and say Samsonite. I have traveled a lot in some 3rd word shitholes at that and my Samsonite has done me good. They have I think a 25 year warrenty. I have been using the same carry on for 10 years and it is in great shap and I replaced my big suit case after 8 years because after flying back from Afghanistan, AirCanada the metal hook flying from Calgary to Kamloops and refused to do anything about it. They have great peices, made for serious travel. They make some big ones to which I need because I am always going from country to country for long periods of time.

American Tourister luggage, because Ive had it a long time and it is very durable , in the last three years Ive been all over the country and out of the country, Ive had Louis Vuitton, and I found that it just makes people throw your luggage harder want to steal out of your luggage more and just lose them so they can have them!

I have a Wenger/Swiss Army set that is just amazing. I love how each piece has lots of built-in pockets/organizers/storage compartments. That's especially nice on my overnight bag which has a laptop case built in. It looks great even after having been used pretty heavily, and I think the wheels are a bit sturdier than on the other luggage I have. I can roll it behind me for 20 NYC blocks and it never wobbles or anything!

Samsonite. I've had numerous brands of luggage because I travel a lot. Samsonite is the brand that has lasted me the longest.

I love my new Helium carry on, it really is lighter than a normal one.

Honestly, I've bought luggage at Target that was just as good as the expensive stuff at Macy's, and when the airline runs over it with a cart (yes, that happened to me, left a freakin' tire track across it!) You don't feel bad about having to buy another one! And the airline doesn't argue with you about paying for a cheap suitcase.. :)

Samsonite for durability and strength. It is tough to withstand the rough handlings dealt by the handlers. I have had bamages on my cheaper brands but my Samaonite had oulasted plenty.
