1- The only way to fix gum recession is by gum graft - for example taking a peace of the gym in the roof of the mouth and sticking it on the place where the problem is.

2- To make sure you don't get gum recession, use a tooth brush that is soft or extra soft. Brush lightly towards your gums.

Take very good care of your teeth. Brush at least twice a day, floss at night, use a bacteria-fighting mouthwash like Listerine, and you might want to consider investing in a Sonicare toothbrush. If your gums aren't too far gone, good oral hygiene will get them back into shape. If not, your looking at oral surgery.

It can only be done surgically. They take tissue from the roof of your mouth, or from a cadaver, and stitch it onto your gums.
