Since it is MY home, i would decorate it using MY own style and would also be what's in fashion!

If you're sheep, you'll follow fashions & trends, If you're a leader, then you your personality comes out with home decor. Go with whats comfortable for you. I like to be different, so my own style

Your house is your home so I think that decorating it in the style that makes you comfortable is the best. If you want to keep up with fashion you will be redecorating every year. Forget fashion think comfort.

Always decorate to your own style, fashions change your own style doesn't.

If you decorate to fashion you will be decorating every 6 months.
I always decorate in my own style that includes going to car boots and auctions.If you decorate TASTEFULLY with old or antique furniture it can never get old fashioned because it already is.Good luck on your decision.

Definitely your own style. You can take into consideration current trends, but pick ones out YOU like. You don't want to decorate in a style you don't like. It's YOUR home, YOU need to enjoy living in it.

Current fashion is one of many ways to take ideas for decorating your home.
If there is something I like and I can afford it or adapt it then yes I'll use it.
