some silly *** shampoo and a comb for taking them out . Isnt the egg just made up of protien isnt there a way to break down that protien with protien or something . For god sakes this is 2006 ! My kid came home with damn lice on his head !

Head lice is nothing to be ashamed about. They can't tell a clean head from a dirty one. Get some pamphlets from the pharmacy to learn more.

Go to the store and get some shampoo stuff for lice.it's a whole kit. there will never be a way to get rid of them for good. I'm sure this won't be the last time your kid will get them. seems like when school starts back up is the worst. my sister came home after a week of being at school with lice. I got 4 kits used 2 on her and 2 on me just incase.

I agree that there should be stronger products out there to kill the little bloodsuckers and their eggs. My sister would have to treat everyone in the houses heads at least twice a year while school was in session. The products don't seem to be strong enough and the process has to be repeated to kill any that hatch later on. Everything the kids come in contact with has to be treated and this can become quite expensive. If there is long hair involved it can be a nightmare. Call your local druggist and see if they will mix you up a batch of lice treatment , it seems to be stronger and is cheaper in the long run.

Personally I think ' they' can come up with a cure for a LOT of things but think about the money that ' they ' would be losing.
