Okay, I have one problem with all this. Yo keep telling me to seek help for my eating "problems" as you call them but here you go: my mom doesn't know I throw up, I turn the shower on first and I have never been loud when I throw up anyways. She CAN'T know I throw up. To get help, she would have to know. I've limited myself to 1000 calories and so far I have had a painful 160. I ate once and it is 20 of 2 pm. Now what. I drink protein shakes in the morning, and that is it because I don't get to exercise much. I can't walk unless someone is with me. I'm only 14. 138 is too much for a 5'5" to weigh.

I'm asking what I should do! You know, I CAN'T let mother know I'm doing it or why I'm doing it. There IS more than one thing, I just don't want to talk about them. Nobody would care anyways. Now I know why so many people cut, it helps!

i ahve a very good frined who is JUST liek you, the only difference is.. is that she has overcome it. cutting doens't help... it makes you feel like your destroying what you hate so you feel better temorarily... a few years down the road your goign to look back an your goign to see the scars that you left. and your goign to feel bad abotu thoes as well. adn your goign to feel liek you have to wear long sleeves and long leggings to cover the cuts fir the rest of your life, becuase you cannot remvoe a scar....
as fro your weight?!?!?! you are NOT over weight... your right wehre you want to be... i'm 5'4 and my ideal weight is 135.... mind you i weigh 160 right now. if you can't tell your mom you feel liek you need to lose weight and put your self on a HEALTHY diet... then you should speak to someone a litte more proffesional and get yourself sorted away.... you apparently don't think you hav an eating disorder... but you do... if you feel you have to throw up your food. thats an eating disorder... you don't eat by throwing up... anything you do that is not supposed to be done. is an eating disorder.... by throwing up you are seriously damaging your teeth. .which you may not see now, but you WILL if you keep it up... and what will you do when you do reach your ideal weight.. how are you goign to subconciously stop yourself form throwing up?? you won't.. youll still feel the need to keep doing it. thinking that you have to to stay that thin... OR maybe you don't ahve an ideal weight. you will jsut keep goign and goign and going until your no longer human looking or you die!!! a friend of mine is a nurse, and she worked wiht a woman who was 6'8 and weiged only 60 or 70 lbs... this woman was confined to bed rest, and was being fed interveneously... for this woman to walk to the scale and back to her bed. she was using up more calories than she was taking in... and i don't knwo what ever became of her. but i'm willing to bet she's either dead or very close to it!!!!
so you see... if you really want to take care of your body and get down to your ideal weight the best way to do it. is to be mature about it and tell your mom that you need to walk, and get exercise, or go to the gym and that you need to eat healthy foods!! my mother has lost over 90 lbs doing the sonoma diet.. which menas she HAS to eat breakfast and she has to watch her portions.. theres is no calorie count.. only food restrictions.. liek sugars and a limit on oils, fats and grains.
so i'm sure i didn't answer your question... and although i'm sure your an intelligent girl, and already knew what i've told you.. that maybe something will change your views and you will see there are healthy ways to take care of yourself.... you don't need ot be so destructive toy our body.. because you sound as though you like your body... in the sense that you like the fact that your alive... all you wnat is to change some aesthetics of it... so do it in way that it will love!

My dear child - why are you torturing yourself like this? Has no one ever told you that if you don't eat enough your metabolism will slow down so much that you can't lose any weight? Or that you can cause heart failure and all kinds of other problems by starving yourself? I know you don't really care about those things now, but when you're older like I am and you're having to take all kinds of medicine because of the abuse you did to your body you'll wish you would have cared. I have never made myself throw up, but I have been compulsive about weight loss for a long time. You know what? Now I have Hashimoto's disease - which is a thyroid disease that makes you not be able to lose weight amongst many other problems, and I'm insulin resistant - which also makes you not be able to lose weight. Give up the compusion to be thin and just be YOU. Love yourself for who you are right at this moment - not who you will be later when you're skinny! God made some people to be larger than others, some are taller, some are more skilled in musical abilities - but all are loved by Him. Please talk to your mom or a school counselor. If you can't talk to her get someone to do it for you. I'll do it - give me her e-mail..... you must take care of yourself doll. You have a lot to offer this world and if you don't stop, you'll never live long enough to be who you are meant to be!

You need to eat healthier food and do cardio. Throwing up is not a way to lose weight. You NEED HELP FOR YOUR EATING DISORDER! Tell you mom that you have an eating DISORDER! You are way beyond an eating problem. Its a DISORDER. You are trying to be lazy about losing weight. Throwing up once is a lot easier (and stupider) than working out and eating properly. Get your butt off your couch and exercise! You can exercise in your house by yourself. Do situps and pushups and pilates and yoga. Buy a workout video. Call Dr. Phil. You need psychological help.

The weight for a woman who is 5'5" and of medium build is 127-141. Check your BMI here http://kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/dieting/weight_height.html If it wasn't a problem why would you hide it and not talk to your mother and doctor about it? Tell your mother or a teacher or the school counselor or the mother of friend who you like or an aunt or your gandmother or your dad or any adult you trust before it gets out of hand.

OK if you think your overwieght you do. but a girl of your age needs a lot of calories to grow. ask your mom if you could sign up at curves or a local gym. you need to eat lots of fruits and vegetables and drink milk and water. i hope this helps

do your best to ensure you re not eating after 7 o clock at night you re more likely to make unhealthy choices and less likely to sleep as well after a late meal
