First of all, I KNOW I can just come out and say it. But I was wondering if anyone had any more subtle, or clever ideas of coming around to it.

Secondly, here's the situation. We are both 22 years old, and he lives an hour and half away from me. We've been dating for about a month. I am going to see him for the entire labor day weekend and it's day 3 of the period. I will probably be completely finished with it by Sunday (which stinks).

So, how do I say "I'm on my monthly and we can't do that" without being so... blunt about it?

oh I had this problem when my boyfriend and I were at about a month!! I told him that it wasn't a good time for me and gave him that look. He knew what it meant. No need to say it and cause possibly embarrassment. Men are smart.
you can try saying that cuddling is your limit until sunday at least.

Most men are quick enough to catch hints about flow time.

If he moves to initiate intercourse, simply say "this really isn't a good time for that, right now" & then give him oral . . . he'll be extremely happy & you won't have been blunt. Remember, always be ladylike!! Ask, tho, if he wants to try it while you're on - some men do not mind & some ladies do enjoy it . . . just remember to put a towel down under you.

If you cant be real about that what can you be real about that is most natural part of a woman's life so tell just that you are a natural women this weekend and he should be careful not to get you hot-that's all I got there are many ways I have said it but they might be as settled as you want-have fun that's the important thing watch out he might be a freak and want it anyway-lol

I usually say that I'm having female problems.
Or you can tell him that spending time with him is something that your really looking forward to, but as for having any real"fun", that is temporarily out of the question.

several ways...how about....

1) "my aunt Flow is visiting this week"

2) "there's a red ribbon in my typewriter...you can't write that letter right now"

3) "im feeling bloated like a party favor and have cramps that could cripple a rhino"

4) " there's too much hot sauce on the taco" (vulgar, i know)

Be sublte and tell him I love you but I don't want to make love to you this time. And if he ask why. Maybe say this cuz it will be more meaningful if we wait till next time. Or just be blunt whatever works.

Drop a couple of big towels on the bed and have at it! What's a little blood anyway?

My wife, knowing that I'm a baseball fan, tells me she's "on the DL. (Disabled List)."

She will then tell me she's "day-to-day".

And finally, "back on the active roster."
