I'm not married to a FD, but I am one, and the first person to answer is right, my life is wonderul, but I get alot of interruptions! I think my family has grown used to my job. My dad is still completely fascinated with it and calls me all the time to ask me what's going on at the funeral home. But it really is a rewarding job that i love. I can't imagine doing anything else. I love being able to help people.

Well I don't know about dating or marrying one. But my Dad was a mortician and owned several funeral homes when i was growing up. He was on call constantly. I don't remember one holiday in my childhood that he was ever able to just be with us without having to run out. He has a very dry sense of humor. Stayed stressed out constantly (that stuff gets depressing after a while), and my friends were really creeped out by it. Hope that helps some.
