It is recommended that if you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses to make up for the dose you missed.

Regarding the metallic taste in your mouth, this is a side effect of taking blood pressure medication. If there is a salty or metallic taste or a decreased ability to taste, this effect usually goes away as you continue taking the medication.

High blood pressure does not induce migraines. I am inclined to think you don't even have a migraine since so many folks think just a bad headache is a migraine when a true migraine has its own very distinct set of symptoms. Meantime while you should take your BP meds daily if you miss a dose no big deal since you are now controlling the pressure since they are meds that are short acting and must be taken every day to be effective.

Stop by your doctors office and have your pressure checked.
A head ache could be a symptom of a very high blood pressure, but it's also a symptom of a million other things. It's really good that you took your medications this morning. I'm not sure why your water is tasting different though. Make yourself feel better and stop by to have your pressure checked. You don't need an appointment for that. Good luck

Done it from time to time as well; usually not a problem as system builds up the dosage; should be fine as the day wears on
