It is normal. However, nothing beats face-to-face interaction. When I was in college, I admit I chatted online in rooms...for fun..since I was studying so much on the computer. Since then, I have met people in person....it is much better since you know what the person looks like and get a feel for them. Chatting online and chatting in person are different. I suggest you get out more and join some clubs. It will help your social skills.

I know that you are lonely, We are all lonely. Some people need more company than others. You may be able to get that and you may not. I have found that a relationship with Jesus eases my loneliness. We prefer to be hugged and kissed and told that we are loved, but sometimes, for whatever reason, that just doesn't happen, or it doesn't happen enough! Hold your head up though. There are a lot a lot of people who care very much about everyone, and they will pray for you to be loved more today. Sincerely
