Depends... do you want to have nasty breath and you want your teeth to rot out of your head.
I am 5'1 and 118... if you say ur fat then I must be a whale... Relax... plus.. beign stick thin is out... guys like big butts (or boobs depending on the guy) on guy wants a pure twig.
Plus not eating makes you lose weight rapidly but then yor metabolism slows down and you start to gain weight every time you do eat anything. So when you hit 120 or what ever and you start eating normal again, then you will balloon past what you are now.
If you really want to lose weight eat 6 small meals a day... well 3 decent meals and 3 small snacks in between. Excersize DAILY.. and sleep regularly. Balance your meals.. make sure you get a moderate amount of every oneof the food groups and don't deny your self the things you like to snack on (everything is good for you in moderation) Portion controll is the key.
Do not eat after 7 or 8 pm depending on what your bed time is... so this way you don't sleep on a full stomach and you are sure to burn everything you had eaten.

Oh dear...
Not eating often enough will actually make your body hold onto your fat with a death grip. If you starve yourself your body reacts by holding onto everything it can so it can survive in case it doesn't get fed again.
It's actually better to eat small meals every 3-4 hours, and not for 2 hours before you go to sleep.
I'm 5'7" and 142 and I too am unhappy with the way I look and I'm working on it now.
Don't eat bad food, and when you work out, do cardio for longer than 30 minutes. Your body will burn calories until 30 and fat after that. Work out 3-4 days a week and you will start to see results, I promise.
Do NOT go down the bulimic road, your breath and teeth will be hideous, and the condition really messes with your head.

This is not the way to lose weight. Bullemia is a serious disorder and can lead to health problems and even death. Please, try to lose weight that smart and healthy way. You're not that much over weight for your height so it should be easy for you. A balanced healthy diet and exercise is all you need, not some crazy fad idea that is dangerous. Also, you need to eat. If you're not eating you'll gain weight. It's that simple. Eat no less that 1200 calories a day, fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats, low fat dairy and whole grain breads and pastas. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, drink plenty of water and at least 7-8 hours of sleep at night. Good luck!

Try eating more times during the day and less as a total. If you only eat once a day your body will try and store fat to cover the drought periods. And look at the nutrition you are getting.
Check into what your body fat percentage is. And remember muscle is more dense than fat. Muscle is good. Excess fat isn't. But since you are a girl remember looking chisiled on a guy may look great. But curves and smooth lines are what makes a gal look good.
Throwing up isn't the answer. That leads to all sorts of health problems.

The only effective way of losing weight is exercise. No Matter what is you need to get your heart rate up to 80%. A mix of cardio and weight training is best for shaping your body. If you can do that 20min a day every day it beats the heck out of throwing up. Plus the stomach acid will rot your teeth.

The less food you eat the more your body stores. That's why you aren't losing weight. Try eating several small meals a day and exercising. If you induce vomiting to lose weight your teeth will rot, your breath will smell and your hair will fall out.

I'm 5'5" and I'm 140 pounds. You're not overweight at all. Actually if you research it your normal range. But if you really don't like how you look just take a few minutes a day. (Like 15 or so doing push ups or sit up or lunges) You will be amazed how your body will change. And I found that if I ate 5 small meals a day I wasn't hungry. Don't resort to bulemia its not healthy at all no matter what anyone tells you.

Binging and purging is not the answer to weight loss, eat healthy foods and moderate exercise. If you obsess about you make yourself sick in many ways.
Esophageal ulcers can result from vomitting excessively . HCL acid from the stomach eats the lining of the esophagus. Second, if you binge, purge, binge, purge, binge, purge, binge, purge, your weight will get more out of control. this is call Yoyoing. You lose ten by puking and gain 30. Your body will adjust..
138 lbs is not overweight for your height. Image is something that size can't fix. You need to see a counselor that specializes in eating disorders before you get yourself started on one.

Becoming bulemic or even anerexic (sp) is so way unhealthy! Exercising is definetly the way to go. I would suggest arobics to lifting weights. Eating is OK! The best way to eat and to lose weight is to snack. Snack healthy and in little amounts through out the day. Digesting small snacks (like crackers, cheese sticks, apples, salsa 'n' chips [my fav]) throughout the day compared to digesting 3 big meals a day lets your body "seem" full when its really not.
