You should always believe your dad. He is a guy and knows about guy things. If he says no there is probably a good reason. Make hiim tell you the reason by using the " Teach me how to stay away from bad guys" and bat your eyelashes at him.

Not enough info, how old are you? If it is 14 and he is 19 then listen to the old man, if you are 19 and he is 21 then take another look and ask dad why he feels this way.

If you are 15 and he's 17, your dad is correct, you should not go out with him. Take your fathers advice or warning seriously. He has his reasons at this time in your life, you may not agree, but it is for your best interest.

If he's only 2 years older go for it. But I don't think u love him u might like him alot, but it doesn't seem like love.
