You could remind them that Jesus spoke to a Samaritan woman. Samaritans in Jesus' day were hated by the Jews. The reason being is that Samaritans were half Israelite and half Gentile. (I originally heard about this from reading a book called "Jesus The Christ" by James E. Talmage. He had done research about this).
You could also remind them of the parable of the Good Samaritan. (And this is where it says to "Love thy neighbor as thyself -- Luke 10:27 & 28)
John 4:9 -- scripture reference to when Jesus spoke to a Samaritan woman
scripture that shows contempt between Jews and Samaritans --
John 8:48
parable of the Good Samaritan -- Luke 10:25 - 37

If they still won't listen to you after this, it is probably time to find a new church. Although the answerer above me has a good point. They might just be saying not to socialize with people of other religions.
I'm not Catholic by the way.
EDIT: oops, I just noticed the last detail you wrote about not being able to go to a different church. In that case, you should try talking to your parents about it. Tell them your concerns and see if there is a way that they would consider going to a different church (Catholic or other).
edit: Also wanted to add that if your parents still say no, you'll have to live with that. Do your best to live the way you think Jesus would want you to live.

How would you get them converted if you did not talk to them. Are you sure they are telling you not to socialize with them in doing things that are against your beliefs. Read your bible and you will find the answers that you are looking for coming directly from God. Talk to your parents, they may be able to explain to you better as to what the church leaders mean. Try and get your parents to listen to what you think, you may even be able to have a sit down with the church leaders and your parents and discuss your concerns. All religious leaders are human maybe this one just needs a reminder that every one has a right to share their "gospel" to others, sinners and saints alike.

This is wrong, and what kind of Catholic church are you going to?
In the New Testament there are so many example of Jesus Christ ministering to those who were considered "unclean" or "unrighteous". For example, in Matthew 6 Christ heals the servant of the Roman Centurion. He blessed the woman at the well, who was a Samarian, he saved the woman who was caught in adultery from being stoned.
And how are you to know who is Christian and not? Do you hang a sign on your neck that says, "Don't talk to me unless you believe? Come on! Just be good, follow the example of Christ, do good things, and talk to everyone.

You fact on Language/dial..is right and the church homes that are speaking in a wierd tongue as I understand the Bible are being lie to by ability of devil. If this might properly be a language of the Angels then they're to no longer communicate it in a Church for it would not edify the Church and has no longer something to do with ones journey with the Holy Spirit. All could have the Holy Spirit that desires Christ as their Savior and to communicate the language of the Angels is a private element between God and them. All dif. languages in Church that are spoken continuously desires an interpreter is , purely a diverse language of alternative international places and it fairly is the present of Tongues. it fairly is what scripture says yet you recognize the way devil can get his ideas infiltrated interior the church homes and lie to, and that's fairly not a sparkling trick. There are wheat and tares in all church homes and the tares are lead by ability of devil to confuse.

It dosnt say you dont speak to unbelievers your just not supposed to suround yourself in them. I dont make a point of making friends with an unbeliever but I wouldnt shun them away. You should treat them with kindness and be a light to them, that maybe on there own they will see the light of God in you. You cant "convert" someone they have to find God for themselves. Just because your church goes against the Bible dosnt mean you have to. And if I were you as soon as I was 18 Id run from that church....lol. Good luck hun.

Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Those are Jesus words. How will the lost come to know the Lord if one just sits within their own house? I was raised in the catholic church also and left when I fully understood what "God" was telling me. The organization is good for some but not for me.
When you are an adult you will have the opportunity to choose your own organization where you will join others in worship. Right now just trust God and respect your parents.

You dont need to quote the bible for that one, common sense will do just fine. Do you think jesus would not talk to someone becuase they were of a different religion? Your church is hoping that you wil not think for yourself and realize that it is ridiculous. They are trying to brainwash you, and talking to other people can open your eyes to different opinions and ideas. Being open is not wrong its living. as soon as you are old enough , get as far away as possible from that church. Do a little research on other religions, talk to people that can give you meaningful info on life and different cultures. Soon you will realize that that your church is not a religion, but a cult. But you think they are wrong so obviously you are not mindless yet, dont let them strip you of your individuality.

Yes they are wrong, sounds like some kind of cult your in. Get out and find a good church where your encouraged to spend time with other Christians as well as those who you can witness to. The Bible says that we live in this world, but we are not of the world, but this does not mean we are not supposed to talk with people who aren't Christians.
Jesus Himself, spoke to sinners, such as the woman at the well, in Samaria, he went to Zaccheus house for tea. Jesus came to seek and save those who were lost, and as His followers we are called to do the same.
God Bless you.

Personally, I thing you should simply ask whoever told you this nonsense how you're suppose to witness to anyone if everyone you're allowed to talk to are already christians. Kinda defeats the purpose, especially with the catholic church, which have always been big time into missionary work.

I'm Catholic also (7 years Catholic school) and anyone in your congregation who is telling you you aren't allowed to talk to anyone who isn't Christian is going against all the teachings of the Catholic church.
Point out to them that Pope Benedict confers with Islamic and Jewish religious leaders all the time.
