Please, dont bother answering with cliches, I know very well my criticism of humanities greatest plague (Islam) is not PC. If you must answer in objection, just type "I hate you" and leave it there, at least you dont repeat a cliche like "Dont blame the whole for a few you racist (i havent studied this issue, but i like this cliche)"
Humanity cannot afford Islam anymore. Period. I advocate exhausting every possible peaceful means to remove the cancerous mythology from the world, but it is clear, that the most humane, most responsible position for all educated people in the world, is to assist in the removal of this cancer.
Homo-sapiens are but a species, like homo-nederthals waaaasssss. We can very easily be exstinguished as a species. The prot-catholic wars were a joke...the inquistion was a joke...but only the most extreme wackos would deny that all religions BUT Islam have evolved.
Almost all armed conflict worldwide is Islam and it may never "evolve". Study it.

I am answering this question so I can keep track of the question and study the links you have posted, thanks.
My response, without research, is that it is a sad day that humanity cannot solve a problem with wisdom, objectivity, and looking at the ramifications of any action. This jihad / concept is not a new problem, it is an escalating problem with the proliferation and easy access of weapons and lack of education of the masses. Perhaps it will be unnecessary to debate it very much longer as those who think like you will destroy every person on the planet. If you study people at all you will see that even the most deranged believe they are doing the right thing and the problem (the root of the problem) is the post enlightenment view of subjective reality.
Each person now believes truth is individually defined and therfore there are no moral standards by which we are governed. Individuality is a horrible thing as it makes the person into a god and everyone else just noise. We have lost our identity as members of a neighborhood, community, country, continent, or world. However, we are a global society that must learn to get along and follow some basic ground rules if we are to survive as a species. NATO and the UN, though great in concept, aren't working -- clearly!!
Employing genocide or the suggestion of it as a viable answer to any problem is a short cut and lazy answer to real problem solving. Much like suicide, it is selfish and doesn't solve the problem, it just magnifies it. Put yourself on the other end of your statement -- you are an Infadel (so am I) and those who are causing so much havoc see your solution as their solution to the problem too. You are advocating their argument and simply reversing the target.
Illogical, ammoral, and will not solve the problem of conflict as the Neo Nazis, Anarchists, fill-in-the blank with other extremists will only fill the void created.
I think that we as Americans / non-Islamic individuals are illequipped at solving the problem and until those who are Islamic see this as their problem; an embarassment to their religion and get involved we are just making things worse and making those that were previously uninvolved get involved and feel a solidarity with those outliers in their religion -- look at what happened with Hezbollah who had very little support in other countries and were seen as terrorist thugs. Now they have the sympathy and support of far more people who hate America and Israel and admire Hezbollah for taking Israel on.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. CAN WE NOT UNDERSTAND THAT?
By the way, I have read your posts since being here and think you put a lot of thought into your posts and always look forward to what you have to say, no matter how much I may disagree with what you say. Thanks for the intellectually stimulating and challenging point of view.
I am so very tired of over generalizations. When you lump any religion and all of its members into a group you are showing ignorance -- a similar statement to some of your statements would be: All people with black hair and brown eyes are a blight on society and we need to kill them. Would anyone advocate that? Is it fair, kind or productive to call me names when you don't know anything about me, how I came to choose Christianity over many other religions I studied earnestly, how I live my life, what I believe, etc. God did not make us robots, though some prefer to act that way -- He gave us logic and a brain and we are commanded to use it so that we don't fall prey to evil plots, ploys and other illogical thought processes.
Many people assume that religion is blind faith -- well, I am a scientist at heart and have worked in science and studied science my entire life. I need logic to commit myself to anything so I have sought-out the logic behind religion and non-religion. I don't think science and religion are exclusive of one another -- science supports faith. It is so hypocritical for people to call people of faith insane or idiots when those same people have faith in "scientific theories" like evolution, the age of the earth, what processes are imployed to create oil or diamonds, gravity, string theory, the big bang theory, etc. MOST of life is an issue of faith and you choose what you will believe -- if you base your life on what you know personally, you are missing-out on a wealth of knowledge and are starting at day one of human existence. Do you love your children, will you teach them what you have learned so they won't have to make the same mistakes you did or do you have so little faith in anything that you just let them figure things out for themselves -- oops! sorry I didn't warn you about the fact that walking in the middle of the road with all black clothing at night will increase the likelihood you will be hit by a car? What threatens you so much about what others choose to believe since you have set yourselves as the standard by which all truth should be measured? Believe what you want but don't get angry at people who want to share what they believe to be the most beautiful and freeing piece of knowledge they have come across. I don't want to hurt you or be "right", I want you to simply consider and make your own decision. It's your life, not mine that you must live.
Is it any wonder the world is at war when we can see a slice of the same global problem playing itself out here on a daily, hourly basis? Who among us is contributing to the problem instead of trying to show tolerance and educate others about their beliefs and seeking peace instead of more war, violence, and hate? Where are the peacemakers? Where are the people who exemplify their "beliefs" through their words? Where are the people who can bring us together instead of further tear us apart?
How can we solve global problems if we can't even show a modicum of tact, tolerance, and kindess in this forum? All I see is hopelessness for the world since this site is probably a pretty good indicator of the world.........

Humanity can't afford any religion - It will be the downfall of our species and the shackles that keep us in slavery and not able to see reality for what it truly is.
Einstein's non-acceptance of quantum theory was based on a concept that god had to exist. He was wrong about quantum mechanics and he would have been the greatest physicist ever if he didn't have a hang up about god and trying to place that antiquated notion in reality where it doesn't make sense as is nonfactual.

actually. americas greatest (along with the worlds greatest) plague isnt islam, its religion as a whole.
humanity can no longer affor christianity either. christianity is also a cancer upon the world. irresponsible, uneducated fools goign around assuming their beleifs are correct and truthful because it gives them warm fuzzy feelings. the reality of the matter is that NO religion is necessary and ALL religion is detremental to a technologically and scientifically advanced society (as in america and in europe)
correct me if im wrong but christians have also taken up arms ad decclared war on america. even goign so far as to blow up federal buildings, abortion clinics, plant bombs at gay prode parades, funerals and many other places. murdering people is also a great way for christian terrorists to kill. wethr they be girls who desire abortions or the doctors that perform them.
yo uassume that islam is the source of all terrorism, i ay there are many sources including (what i presume to be) yourreligion. most people sho speak out on islam tend to be right wing christians.....so....

Islam is a monotheism that preachs nothing that is dangerous to humankind--at least not any more so than Christianity or Judaism...
how can you even begin to justify the statement about wars being attributable to Islam? how about the bloodiest? the north v south in these here united states? napolean? WWII, WWI, Korea, Viet Nam?? i could go on and on.............
if anyone needs to study, it's you. but i see that your "mind" is already made up. i don't "hate" you, but i certainly hate the hate and misinformation that you spew.

Humanity cannot afford to give up its freedom of religious expression, wherever it has been granted. People have as much right to choose Islam as anything else. I have met Muslims who are very good people, who wouldn't dream of blowing anyone up. I am a Christian, by the way.

Sorry. Lot's of Islamic friends here, some orthodox, some not, not one of them has offered me violence in any way, for any reason.
People like you are the absolute Wackos, with your PseudoIntellectualism used as an attempt to disguise your bigotry and intolerance.
You really should take your tinfoil hat and preach in the streets with the rest of the insane.

For the sake of humanity and the safety of planet earth, I'm in favor of outlawing both of them.

If Islam will not conform to Christianity, then God will take care of its destruction. The Jews are God's chosen people and God will protect Israel from destruction at the cost of the entire human race, save Israel. If the Islamics refuse to accept this, then God will destroy them. If American insists upon stabbing Israel in the back with land give away proposals, then God will destroy America. If the Jewish leaders support these bankrupt American ideas, then they will be killed and replaced by a leadership that adheres to the Old Testament in regard to the Abrahamic covenant. We Americans think that we are invincible, that putting In God We Trust on our money makes us bulletproof from the wrath of God. God is no respecter of person---he causes it to rain on whom he wills it.
