I think men are obsessed with women and passionate about sports. There is a big difference. You don't see guys acting over a female the way you do sports - instead, they simply can't seem to stay away from a female unless they are gay lol. It's more of an obsessive problem than a passion problem.

Men are more passionate about women.
The reason I say that is that no guy will ever screw another guy over for sport. Take that same guy, get a couple drinks in him, put him in a bar situation with a lady and watch him completely ditch his buddies for some girl he hadn't met until a hour ago.
I do it, all guys do it. However, when I say they are more passionate about women...I mean in an entirely sexual way. If it comes down to hanging out with your girlfriend/wife or watching the game with some buddies, most guys will take the buddies and sports.

It is a 50/50 split. I personaly am more passionate about women. You can't cuddle with your buddy during a ballgame but a girlfriend- oh yeah. It is just one of those things. If the girl doesn't like sports than find out what she likes and make a compromise. You will do this with her if she goes to a sporting event with you. Hope this helps. The Love Doc
