We live in a fallen world. Man by himself cannot obtain world peace. It is impossible... without God. I believe there will never be peace in this world. Man is sinful. It's evident in cruel dictators and local criminals and bigshot CEOs. World hunger could be solved relatively quickly if the rulers of the 3rd world nation wouldn't hoard money, and the don't use funds to run their tyrannical regime! Then there's the caste system, which prevents people from moving up in the world by their own will, and ignores India's greatest chance of revenue by worshipping cattle! They have one of the world's largest workforces, but they are one of the poorest nations. Sin causes war and hunger. What needs to be changed is the hearts of men.

Aggreed totally on the saying and the power of it. But face reality things will only get worse until the actual end when Jesus sets down on the mount of olives currently under the dome of the rock as some think and He sets up His kingdom and puts satan, the anti christ, the demons and those who did not choose Christ away for ever. Then we who know Him get the biggest eteranal Heaven party ever. Cant wait till then see ya there. By faith in Jesus amen.

Jesus knew many of the men there who were involved in his execution, did not realize he was totally innocent. The murder of God's most important Son is beyond comprehension in the caliber of justice. And Jesus was showing concern for the unknowing participant; a deep display of love.

For Judas, the crime was inexcusable.

Someday soon, all who live on earth, will have Christlike genuine love for one another; hence, Paradise.

Agreed. Funny that atheists are too concerned about perceived "inconsistencies" in the bible to see the power of such simple truths and principles.

Not only a great saying, but a valid last request by a dying son to his father.

Do you think he forgave us?

It wouldn't be paradise, because people would walk all over each other without fear of repercussions.
