Some are and some are not.
Perhaps I am considered to be a Senior Citizen. I am 60. I will do the best I can to share with you what I think.
All I know is life is a mystery. For every soul on our planet there is at least one question. But I fear there are very few answers.
Many, if not most, pretend to act, tell you, or make you believer they know what this Hell is going on. But believe me my friend when I say damned few really do!!!
I am not resenful and I am not bitter! In fact I am just waiting for my chance to go Soul Soaring!
So please allow me to share these few things I have learned
during my journey through life.
Live everyday of your life as though it were your last!
Always be honest and generous!
Always stay open to unlimited possibilities!
Be a part of the solution instead of a part of the problem!
Treat everyone you encounter with respect and dignity!
Don't be afraid to try anything new at least once!
Embrace the notion that every soul on our planet is seeking
the same things you are!
Have fun but be safe.

Some people mellow out with age but most older people I know have the same personality they did when they were younger. Some young people are mellow and kind and others are bitter and mean, same for older people.

I vote for older people are mellow and kind! I have not yet met even a single older person who was crabby or rude! even the crabby one give you great smiles and talk to you nicely when you be patient with them.... I guess thats all they expect from us patience and some respect for their wisdom!

My parents are 85 and 86. They are in good health (considering their ages) and are mellow and kind. They have been married for 67 years and still kiss each other good night. They go dancing once a week and are the cutest couple on the dance floor. At a distance one would think they are still in their fifties. I am truly blessed to have parents like them.

I love old people, at least the fun older people. One of my favorite people is this dude that is 82. He has the best sense of humor, and is always getting into trouble with his wife. He acts like a kid, and she smacks his arm. It's has to be the funniest thing. so, getting old with the right person is important, and not letting yourself become an old bitter person. The same thing can happen to you at your age. You can be happy, or you can be bitter, it's your choice.

Because that's life. And not every senior citizen fits into those demographics. It just depends on how you want to be.

Age has nothing to do with personality. Which ever they are is the way they were when they were younger.
