I've heard of "The Family" (formerly COG, The Children of God), and I've heard of TWI (The Way International). But not "The Family International".
As for The Family, it was formerly headed by David "Mo" Berg, and is now headed by Karen Zerby. Is this the group you mean? If so, here's their website:
http://www.thefamily.org/
They were quite notorious in the 1960s and '70s for their sexual practices, but you won't find any mention of that in their official documents, except maybe for a defense of their "FF" techniques ("Flirty Fishing", in which people were recruited into the organization with sex). Scroll down this page to "Flirty Fishing" to see their official take on it:

For a bit of unusual reading, here's an article from some ex-Family members on Flirty Fishing, complete with some comic book illustrations at the bottom of the page (note: these illustrations are NOT work or kid friendly) :

And where are you now? Have you surrendered your life to christ? If not it could have been better you remain in the family international

Never heard of it, but it does sound like a cult. I'm glad you aren't it anymore.
