depending on what Burner program you are using their are some burners out there that allow you to burn vid's to cd. I use either Hot Burn or Roxio easy cd creator 5 and don't have any trouble getting to cd. There to when you go to burn to cd you need to make sure you are not using the burn as data, to burn a vid to cd you need to use the other option for video.

You need to get a DVD burner and DVD-Rs on which to record films. A CD burner only burns a CD. Get a DVD burner and DVD-Rs.

Choose burning to VCD. If you have burning software that supports it. Otherwise look at the free download places - see what they have. The links below will help. the afterdawn site explains VCD and appears to offer software downloads too.

particular there is first you like the ideal software/utility and extra suited yet, in case you have/purchase a twin layer dvd/cd burner then youcould use only one disc and make even larger movies!
