I have been with my girlfriend for 4 years now, still young (im 19) and im happy. But when your with someone for so long in a serious relationship, its hard to feel good about yourself. Other girls, they dont look at you in the same way when you have a girlfriend, so the only person that looks attracted to you is your girlfiend. I'm not saying this is a problem, but my girlfiend been the sweet girl she is would probily still be attracted to me if I had my head exchanged for that of a goose. This is affecting my relationship, as i am losing confidence in myself, I just need to believe that if the worst came to worse and we split, i'd be ok, but how can i do that?

you know that sometimes being attractive is about the way that you carry yourself, and how you feel about yourself, and not just your looks. It is about how you feel and at this point, if you keep feeling that way, then you will believe it, and then you would be in trouble if that time ever comes... i would not worry about it right now, it can ruin your life...

I completely understand where you are coming from. Being in a long term relationship especially when you are that young makes you wonder if there are other options out there. Even if you are not looking. You may not know this but women tend to be more attracted to men that are taken rather than single guys. It's crazy but true. Don't sell yourself short and never second guess your ability to find someone that loves you. Something tells me that you are not that bad looking and once you are in college(if you are not already) they will be flocking around you. Just don't let your curiosity ruin your relationship. Especially if you plan on taking your relationship with your gf to another level in the future.

Try to woo another girl just for fun and see what the results are. You if ask for her number and she gives it, just throw it away right after. Baisically you're looking to see if you still got it! Or eye a girl from across the room. Talk to her with your eyes and smile at her and see if she smiles back. Or go over and try to talk to her anyway and she if she responds. Again this is all for fun. So if you're looking for some kind of reassurance, I'd say try some of these things. Sounds like you have some insecurity issues though, but I guess that's not really why you're here. Just thought I'd give you some suggestions.

I think you're worrying unduly.
You've got a girlfriend.
She didn't pick you because you look like a phone booth,obviously.
Unless something drastic has happened to you,i.e you've been shaving with an outboard motor, I wouldn't worry.
Try talking to her.
Simple.

You know. You should flirt with other women. Strangers. Nobody you'll ever see again. Just flirt a little. If they talk back and flirt with you then you'll know you're attractive.
Flirting is not cheating if you don't take it too far. Just be friendly.

go to myspace and make a homepage then somether it will ask you if you wont your photo rated say yes then after aweek or so check it i felt like that and thats what i did i got a 9.5 rating ouy of 10 it made me feel alot better

Your both too young to be in a relationship. You should be seeing many people. Wait until your in your thirty's and have your education and careers moving forward, then and only then should you be in a relationship
