There are many cakes (bourbon cake, for example) made with whisky; but the alcohol evaporates.
Then there are cakes such as rum baba or black forest cake where you add liquor to the finished cake. Perhaps that's what you mean.
There are many recipes. Here's the first of 8 given on the second link below:
6 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. raisins, optional
2 tbsp. baking powder
9 tbsp. melted butter
3/4 c. lukewarm milk
Beat eggs and sugar until very light. Add flour and baking powder that have been sifted and blended together. Add butter, milk (and raisins); beat until smooth. Grease and flour angel food cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 325 degrees.
SYRUP:
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white rum or 1 tsp. rum extract

Would be kind of pointless as the alcohol would burn off during cooking. Best to soak the cake later. Try halving a ginger loaf cake, pouring over brandy or similar, then filling and topping with whipped cream and bananas.

Harvey Wallbanger Cake
1 (18.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (3.5-ounce) package vanilla pudding mix
4 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup, plus 2 tablespoons orange liqueur
4 tablespoons vodka
1/2 cup, plus 2 tablespoons orange juice
1 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350*F (175*C). Grease and flour one 10-inch tube pan; set aside.
Combine cake and pudding mix in a large bowl. Add the eggs, vegetable oil, 1/2 cup orange liqueur, 2 tablespoons vodka, and 1/2 cup orange juice. Beat with electric mixer for 4 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes then remove and place on cooling rack.
Spoon glaze over cake while it is still warm.
Glaze:
Combine remaining 2 tablespoons orange liqueur, 2 tablespoons vodka, and 2 tablespoons orange juice with the powdered sugar and blend until smooth. Spoon glaze evenly over warm cake.
But, you won't get drunk if that is what you are looking for. Then it would be best to just stick to drinking!

One other thing, if you want the alcohol in the cake after cooking, just add it after!! Alcohol is VERY pourus so will seep all the way through the cake anyway, but this will only work with prober spirits e.g Scotch, Brandy, Vodka, Absinth etc.

I have made a chocolate cake and after it was cool I cut in in the middle covered both halves with liquor, put it in the fridge to get cold then ice it.
You can also add Liquor to the icing.
It was very very yummy.
Good luck
