I am sorry to tell you this, but GOD is in control of everything. The question is,why did GOD even decide to create satan? Or the earth or anything in fact? Do you think HE is lonely with human emotions? I think not. He is the all mercifull and HE alone created life so we can exist. Now that is what you call a friend. As much as you suffer, there is always going to be a day for relief(death). Now that is a friend. And life goes on. The problem is we psychoalalise everyhting instead of letting thigs just be. Present party included and somw would say that makes me a hypocrite. No, that makes me human. That makes me flawed, just like anthing else that is created to the point the only thing that is perfect is what you know not and your faith knows it. My imperfections is what makes me perfect, because there is always room for perfection. Always room for manifestation. But the truth of the matter is GOD (the ONE true GOD) is in control of satan and the situation on a whole. It was GOD's decision to make adam and eve eat the quince and if they did not, would we be here? We are the progeny of adam and eve regardless of what race or religion. It does not matter if you accept this or not bacause the GOD is just that mercifull that HE can still grant you peace if that is what you truly desire. There is always pleasure after pain. This TRUTH exists in every religion. For christianity, the story of "footprints in the sand". For islam it states "after hardship, allah makes the road easy". In buddhism it is a moraltiy to simply aknowledge this truth of suffering. And your last question kind of puzzles me. I look from a different perspective. In genesis, it says that "GOD made light and he saw that it was good". Meaning there was darkness before light. "And when HE was done with HIS creations and seen what mankind has done. HE was mad". I personlly look to the light as something else. Do you think the light of a blind man is the same as one who can see? They can not be compared. For example issac(pbuh) was blind. And his light was not that of ohthers. For another example I put forth a question. Do you find more peace during the day with the blue sky and the sun illuminous? Or when the sun sets and the stars come out? Where the moon graciously gives light so we can see and the heavens can be seen as clear as night? Stretching to eternity?

God didn't create evil. To do evil is a choice. It's part of free will. Evil is not an integral part of a being. God created all beings with free will. God wanted a relationship with us but if we were all just robots that HAD to love God, with no free will, then it wouldn't be real love. If you force someone to love you then it doesn't mean anything. So God had to give us free will, the gift of being able to choose to love Him willingly. He knew some of us would choose wrongly but He loved us enough to let us choose. He didn't want to have us be puppets on a string, forced to love with a love that meant nothing. The very fact that you can choose places value on the actual decision. Love means something when it is a choice. It means nothing if it is forced.

You could speculate about mythology until you are blue in the face and you would still not know anything. The truth is that both goodness and evil are present in the minds and actions of human beings. In your language, this means that both God and Satan are influencing your life. Do good, not evil. Don't try to second guess God. Just be thankful that you have the option of doing good. People have always noticed that there are good and evil things in the world. You haven't made any new discovery. You have merely discovered it for yourself and that is an important step. The next step is to take responsibility for your own thoughts and actions. It doesn't help to blame goodness for badness. The entire world is a mixture of better and worse things. Blaming God for evil is what is called blasphemy, so to avoid blasphemy, our mythology needed another character to represent evil and they called one if its names Satan.
I hope this helps.

He did know as He knows all things and Satan, Lucifer, the Devourer (whatever you want to call him) is God's tool for the refining of all of us -- free will assumes you have a choice between at least two things. You can choose to be refined or destroyed -- the choice is ours.
Isaiah 54:16 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
Public Domain
16Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
Everything works together for the good of those who love the Lord -- even the devil is helping us be closer to God by pointing-out our weaknesses and things we need to focus on about ourselves that keeps us from glorifying God and when properly addressed these personality/sin issues aids us in showing God to the world by our choices.
Ultimately Satan would have been a non-issue if mankind had not chosen to listen to him instead of following God's rules so we need to stop blaming satan so much for our own choices.
No weapon formed against us shall prosper (unless we allow it to.)
Not a popular response, I am sure.

Satan originated as an angel in heaven by the name of Lucifer.
Lucifer was like...THE top angel in heaven.
This position of power got to his head and he became greedy and power hungry.
This attitude got him and all those alligned with him booted out of Heaven.
God did not create evil........evil was created by the one who went against God and the perfect world He had created.
And yes, God does know everything, and of course we will ask y He created Lucifer if He knew what was going to happen.
Personally, I do not think we, as human beings, can even begin to comprehend the mind of God. Therefore asking a "Why?" question to humans that only God can answer is only going to get you the answer that YOU want to hear.

He did know. He knows that we would rebel, but made us anyway. Lucifer was not evil when created, but he made a choice to become evil. God knows how things are going to turn out before they happen, and he grants us free will. When the situations we get ourselves into end up blowing up in our faces, we realize (some of us) that we need God. I think it's a roundabout way of reconciling us to Himself.

he did know, but what u would u rather him do! not create him as long as for us. he always knew we were goin to disobey and some of us were goin to do our own thing. but everybody knows theres diesease in the world and everyones at risk of being hit by a car, or dying on a plane, or being shoot, or dying in our sleep, or dying during child birth, dying in a car accident but does any of this prevent us from living our lives........ no. so why would the bad things keep god from creating. good and evil is a freewill choice. good is only as good as the person and evil is only as evil as the person also. everything on this earth posesses good and evil. a dog can be evil like, a cat can be evil like, birds can be evil like, bees can be evil like, bacteris can be evil like. so its not just humans. god created the animals also, so whether we were created or not evil would still be on this earth.

Originally, Lucifer was an angel before he became a dissident and was banished to hell. Compare it to the other religions which seceded from the original one, Christianity of the Roman Empire upon its conquest of Israel
These dissidents subsequently called themselves prophets, formed their own religions based on their own doctrines and ideologies .And claim that theirs is the true religion.Much like Mohammed, the Jewish pseudo- Messiah adopted these older religions' -Judaism and Christianity- theologies
while introducing new doctrines, formed the Islam religion. The adherents of this religion are called Muslims.
Upon Christ's death, the Jews still refuse to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God and the True Prophet. This disbelief and refusal to embrace Christianity is beyond my comprehension as He died and rose before their very eyes
Why did God allow all these things to happen? God gave man free will. The existence of the Devil and his handiwork is the proof of this free will. Remember even Jesus Christ ,Our Lord was tempted by the Devil in the Garden of Gethesame.
. God is all good. Eventually, good will conquer evil. So prayers are very important.
