awww well thats a problem that alot of people struggle with, but let me answer that question with another question, do you belive in God? Because if you do the only reason you have to worry about death is if your not right with him. Rather than thinking of death as being dead and thats it, think of it as being a deep sleep, the Bible says the dead know nothing so when your dead your not thinking about anything or going around as some "ghost" haunting people or anything like that, therefore theres really no reason to worry about whats going to happen because all that your gonna see is tht split second before you die and then the saviour coming again to take you home, so really death is kind of a short cut to the second coming because the moment you die, in your eyes, you awaken again to see Jesus. At least thts how i look at it...

The fear of dying is a sacred experience because it begins our search in earnest to the meaning of life. I was born afraid of dying. I don't remember a day in my life when I've ever not been afraid to die. Then I just about died. For some reason my life was spared. My grandparents grew up in Nazi Germany. My grandmother's three brothers were killed in the war. My family had a morbid fascination with death, they were superstitious. They believed in a punishing God. These were the beliefs I inherited from my family. There is always a way for the soul to resolve this question. There is one for you, too. I've listed one book that might help you. I'm sure there are many more.

My dear we are all afraid of the unknown even the most faithful, and strongest has some fear of death. But let not your heart be troubled, Death is not our finish but our transformation and en-lighted journey. Although everyone has there idea and beliefs of the after death, most people agree that we move on. I believe after a person dies, the effects of that life continue in the lives of everyone who was touched by that person and by that person's actions. The person's spirit moves on and is reborn into a new life of spiritual lessons and teachings. In that respect death is not senseless it becomes the start of labor pains with the results of rebirth.

Actually is is something that you have experience with but just don't realize it. It is the fear of the unknown so if you know about it and what happens you have no more fear. I have no fear of death as I know what goes on with it. If you want that same confidence and understanding of death and what it is all about, check out the site below and do the studies that are offered and you will learn all about it and will no longer have any fear of it.

You need to have a hope. Everyone that doesn't has a hope can be afraid because he/she don't know what is going to happen.
You have to put your faith and hope in God...this way he will give you relief and peace. If you seek God, you'll be sure there is going to be something better once you die. read romans 6:23 in a Bible. take care.

Death is unavoidable so you must find a way to cope with it. We will all go on after our time on earth is up. I work with Hospice patients and right before some of them died I was there and they seemed to share a common experience of peace.
Most of the them expressed visions of dead loved ones right before they passed in to the spirit world. They could not describe the experience in human words, but most of them found tremendous peace before their heart stopped.
The bible assures us of what to expect when we trust God. God is real and though we can't logically understand afterlife, once our body dies we are on the way to God, as long as we desired God on earth. If your family members desire God, you will see them forever.

my friend if you at this very moment ask Jesus to please take your pain your worries and in return have a relationship with him he will on a daily basis remove and heal all the stress that humans keep and reveal to you that it is not necessary to dwell on such matters ,.......you will at that time know without a doubt that all is well and everyboby will be taken care in regards to the kingdom of God , just do your part to spreading the good news and just keep reminding God who you are about worried about meeting you there in heaven in the afterlife. God Bless you and see you there!

You know I have been tying to figure out the answer to this quesion for so long. Why are we afraid to die? To tell you the truth I think it's more of the thought of us leaving our loved ones here on earth, and leaving a place we know much about for a place we know nothing about.

I'm guessing because you haven't accomplished anything with your life and realize that within weeks after your death you'll be forgotten and within years your body will be exhumed and tossed in a landfill to make grave room for someone who did something with their life. But that's just a guess.
