well if the illegals are not lazy how come our tax dollars are going to them, why are they getting treated in hospitals and not paying the bills, why are they getting food stamps, and welfare and aid to dependent children and free lunches in school,
You are trying to say that everyone within one group is a certain way this is very bigoted and just not true.
But it is simple, an old american concept, you break the law, you deserve the punishment.

It sounds to me like you are too lazy to use proper punctuation! There should be no reason why there is a debate on this issue. I want you to go buy a dictionary and look up the term ILLEGAL. Our tax dollars do go to the illegals because some commit crimes and go to jail which tax dollars pay for, others have children here making them legal citizens and using our schools. There are many other reasons why they drain our economy.

Lazy is what Lazy does! So you're a Texan (born and raised)and you didn't take advantage of the Free Public School Education System. As an American Citizen, you should be entitled to any Social Service you may need, including free adult education classes.

Silly, silly liberals, paychecks are for workers. But you make a good point in your post, that is why conservatives want to scale back welfare. It should be used as a stepping stone for someone to get back on their feet, but there are too many lazy bums that use it. Democrats don't want to reduce it because they are interested in forcing people to be dependant upon the government.

Sir, I do not wish for anyone to be on welfare. Even as a conservative republican I understand that people fall on hard times and need a helping hand. Yes this system needs overhauled badly and the illegal situation only amplifies this condition.

Give me a break....seriously. You may live in Texas, but I live in Southern California.
I see a lot of illegal aliens that are mooches.
I see my hospital so overcrowded that it takes hours to be seen in the emergency room.
I see bumper to bumper traffic that wasn't there when they had a day without an illegal.
I see schools so overcrowded that the kids have to go year round on "tracks".
I see kids not getting an education properly because "anchor babies" and illegal children can't speak the language of the country, so our schools accommodate to them instead of our children.
I see illegal gang members
I see illegal drug dealers
I see illegals who wave their flag in my country and don't bother to learn the language
I see illegals that look upon Americans with scorn
I see illegals who think they're still in their country
I see illegals who don't bother to assimilate

what the hell do YOU care? Most countries have parts of their populations that are pretty content to sit on their asses, and have never worked an honest day in their entire lives. We keep hearing this rhetoric for example about how 'hard working' mexicans are supposed to be....well, then, let's see some schools, roads, hospitals, that kind of stuff for our billions in giveaways to Mexico...and less sniveling...

Statics show as soon as they are legal they will be on the welfare roles especially unwed mother and their 20 children. just type in the high cost of illegal immigration, they will even cost us more if they are given amnesty, they will be lining up quicker than you can say illegal.
